My approach to classroom management and organization

Description of my  philosophy (the principles, approaches, and beliefs) of classroom management

Well, within the broad field of teaching, its teaching methods and strategies through which meaningful learning is promoted with digital and interactive resources that are evident in each one of my given classes, a significant approach is carried out to a large group of students during the pedagogical practices in three third grade of elementary school students at San Francisco de Asís Institution that is located in Apartadò - Antioquia, in which I do believe many aspects take place when teaching, such as being respectful with others in the classroom, being recursive and self-taught, taking advantage of the different learning styles to reinforce the skills of those who have it at a high and great level, as well as reinforcing the low level of learning as weaknesses to help them to enhance their English abilities.

In short, the enthusiasm of the students and their active participation in my classes have been by so far one of the most successful aspect to make English learning active, as well as promoting bilingualism all class long, specially in this particular and remarkable face-to-face escenario.

An account of procedures used for teaching large classes and for using group work

An account of procedures used for teaching large classes and for using group work, I would like to highlight first of all that always I introduced a warm-up activity to my students with regard to the topics and the purposes of the class is going to be about, for instance:

- I friendly asked them to put the focus on the explanation of the topic.

- I introduced to the students the topic while writing it on the board.

- I projected an introductory video regarding to the topic as a warm-up.

- I asked for one volunteer student who would like to participate with the trainee teacher either describing or pronouncing the vocabulary or English phrases worked during the class, in front of the other students to pronounce each one of them out loud.

.

- I also asked the students to answer questions related to what they really concern about the topic worked in order to get the students familiar more with the spoken English language.

- I projected a video to the students on YouTube related to the pronunciation activities in English.

- Then we both students and the trainee teacher pronounce aloud over and over again about the vocabulary worked as repetition technique every week and so on and so forth during a period of time until learn correclty the pronunciation.

- Finally, I try to give to each student at the end of the classes about a piece of paper with verse of a song written there like a warm-up style, which they should practice once every class ends up, and then, to be also practiced at the beginning of the next ones.

A descripton of the most efective activity I developped with the students.

As a short description but meanigful at the same time was about pupils` participation arising their hand for whatever doubts and concerns they used to have about something as an evidence of being immersed all class long, therefore, and for sure I felt extremely thrilled because of that, besides, as the most effective activity for me was about making an interactive class by using props and engaging telling stories through which students used to get thrilled because in spite of making noise in the classroom, it becomes into a positive way to reward them with extra points, as well as having fun with some funny penances.
